Jubilee Tertiary Scholar Aid

THE SCHOLARSHIP

About The Scholarship

The Partners introduced the Scholar’s Aid Project to provide scholarships for children from fishing communities attending senior high school. The scholarship provides financial and psychosocial support to children within the Partners’ area of influence in the Western Region. Through an effective governance structure and administrative regime, a minimum of 300 junior high school graduates across the coastal belt of the Western Region are awarded the scholarship yearly. A total of 1,200 underprivileged children from the fishing communities have benefited from the scholarship since its inception four years ago. The Project seeks to provide financial support for graduates of the Scholar’s Aid Project and others from the fishing communities to pursue further studies at the tertiary level. The scholarship will cover students from universities, nursing, and teacher training colleges.
